Applications are invited for the full-time regular position of Receptionist.  Applications will be accepted from February 15, 2018 through February 28, 2018.

Department: Administration/Finance

Reports to: Finance Manager

Salary: Negotiable based upon experience and training (Grade 2 per District Wage Scale)

Date: 02/15/2018 

Position Summary:

Responsible for handling incoming telephone calls and greeting visitors; assisting with accounts payable.  Responsible for providing secretarial support to Finance Manager, Construction Manager and backup secretarial support for General Manager as needed.


High School Diploma/GED; able to communicate effectively and professionally verbally and in writing; basic knowledge of computer operation; able to prioritize and work efficiently in a busy, fast-paced environment; typing; 10 key; knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet software

Requisite Certificates:

Valid Nevada Driver’s License; Notary Public obtained within six (6) months of employment; participate in CPR and First Aid training when provided by employer

The duties include, but are not limited to:

Courteously and professionally greets visitors and directs them appropriately

Provides all secretarial duties as required

Answers multiple telephone lines taking and relaying messages as necessary

Takes water orders and trouble calls including data entry

Creates work orders as directed

Contributes to the team effort

Provides assistance with gathering accounts payable documents

Prepares letters, memos, agendas, minutes, notices, etc. as required

Maintains strict confidentiality

Works overtime as necessary
